Thrown from a dark red textured stoneware clay with a shallow foot and a Tenmoku glaze.
The finish on the glaze is very dependant on thickness of application and shows lovely variation from semi-matt rusty red through to gloss black. Inclusions in the clay body speckle and melt in the firing, adding further interest to the surface.
Great as an individual bowl or for shared starters and side dishes.
