Thrown stoneware dish with impressed pattern, porcelain slip and applewood ash glaze.
A recent experimental piece that I decide to include in the shop opening. Where thickest the porcelain slip has surface cracks in several places. All but a few of these have been covered over with the very fluid ash glaze. Personally I would consider this dish fine for serving food but I just wanted to make you aware that there were these few minor surface fine cracks.
