Thrown from a textured stoneware clay with a shallow foot and a ‘scrub-ash’ glaze.
The ash glaze has developed a glassy olive colour on this platter. Thinly glazed on the underside, the surface has taken on a stoney and rusty colour in the reduction-firing.
A great all-round serving dish for beautiful summer salads or winter roasts.
