Tea set comprising a small side-handle teapot, two small cups and a tray.
The teapot is unglazed on the exterior and made from an iron-rich clay body with a wonderfully tactile surface. It has been intentionally fired to a temperature where the clay starts to soften, inclusions begin to melt, bubble and crackle and the surface becomes metallic in the reduction atmosphere.
The two cups are thrown from a textured clay with an ash glaze.
The tray is also unglazed, and thrown from a textured stoneware clay
